Toronto, CAN, 27 Mar 2014 - Toronto Public Works struggled to provide sufficient water to firefighters battling the 6-alarm fire. A 6-Alarm fire on Fairbank Avenue, at Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue, required the evacuation of near-by residents and the closure of Dufferin Street. The fire began shortly before 9 AM Thursday morning at an industrial building, where foam mattresses were manufactured.
